Due to the slow drying of the prehistoric sea, mineral salt formed beneath the earth’s surface and the crystalline structures that give it its characteristic appearance and shapes developed. Its coloring comes from deposits of natural substances such as iron (red) and manganese (yellow).
Salt crystal lamps are adapted to negative ionization of the air in an enclosed space because they create air charged with negative ions, which offset the pollution caused by positive ions produced by electrical appliances, tobacco smoke, or insufficient ventilation.
Thus a beneficial and relaxing environment is created whose air is comparable to sea air. Inhaling these salts causes the activation of mineral substances in our bodies and purifies the lungs and bronchi. It is also an adequate aid in blood circulation and metabolism.
