Oroil’s traditional Oroil line, which has been popular since 1988, is composed of guaranteed first-rate essential oils. Extraction is achieved by steam distillation or cold pressing from wild or organic plants. The EEC classifies essential oils as raw materials: this is why we label all oils following the current European legal regulations (Reg. 1272/2008/EU CLP – Reg. 1907/2006 EC – Reg. 453/2010 EU). Accordingly, our labels faithfully display the symbols and hazard warnings required by law, which can be compared with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) that accompanies each of our essential oils. Material Safety Data Sheets can be viewed at the official website www.fioredoriente.eu in the ‘Certificates’ section. The law, not knowing who will use it, puts industrial use (by the liter), domestic use (by the droplet), and misuse on the same footing. The industrial operator, using essential oils in large quantities, will be required to follow the warnings and consider the risk phrases and hazard symbols. For home use, except in the case of misuse, essential oils may be used in drops, diluted in water or in oil. Maximum percentages for each use are given in the data sheet. Fiore D’Oriente guarantees all its natural and pure oils. Labeling should not frighten us but make us aware of the strength and proper use of pure essential oils. Example: To make one liter of essential oil, about 150/300 gr of fresh plant is needed; 1 ml (20 drops) of essential oil, equals 150/300 gr of plant.
